When I went into the bank today to withdraw some money I was offered a life insurance policy. Can I not just withdraw my money without being sold something? They asked for my phone number so they could call me with a quote and I gave it to them – stupidly – but I won’t be answering the call. They have sent me about it a few months ago and I wasn’t interested then. I was just in a rush today and didn’t want to be mithered about everything!

If that wasn’t bad, I was then approached by an American preacher of some kind on the way home. I didn’t let him get far enough for him to explain himself, I just told him I wasn’t interested and then carried on walking.

If I want something, I will go and find it myself. I don’t need people coming up to me in the street talking to me about God and I don’t need to be sold things in my bank! Rant over.
