I’ve never had much luck with umbrella’s. I always seem to pick up the rubbish ones that break within a day and weren’t even worth bothering buying. The last one I bought was back in July before I went to London and it did exactly what I just said – first day in London it broke. I keep looking for a new umbrella but to be honest, I wonder why I should bother buying one after all the luck I have with them. I’d rather just put a hat on and fasten my coat up! I did have a quick look online for something decent but didn’t really find anything I liked. They’re all just too big like these promotional umbrellas. I want one that will fit in my handbag. I’ll find something eventually.

I haven’t bought any new games for my Wii for a long time. I haven’t even thought about buying a new games console for a while. I seem to go through stages where I want to play on the Wii constantly and stages where I don’t touch it for months. I still play on the Nintendo DS at least three times a week and Meghan uses it a lot more.

Around Christmas time me and Alex usually start looking at console packages that are available to see if we can get one for Christmas. I really miss our Xbox 360 but I would love to add a ps3 to our collection. Hopefully in the next year or so we should be able to treat ourselves to one. I love my Wii but I would just like a few more grown up games. There’s only so much Mario and Animal Crossing you can play before you decide you need to go out there and kill some decent enemies!

Sunday evening I really decided that enough was enough with this whole eating badly again thing. I’ve worked so hard since the beginning of September and to ruin it all now would be a complete waste of time and effort. After I’d written out my shopping list and meals for the week, I made myself a meal planner table with Excel and filled it out for everything that passes my lips from Monday to Sunday. Yesterday I really stuck to it and today I’m doing really well too. I’m proud of myself for getting back on track with things and I felt a lot better this morning when I woke up. I exercised last night and I went jogging this morning. Its not going to be any quick fix fast weight loss program. Its a lifetime change and if I’m to succeed, I need to work at it. I only have around 7-8lbs to lose now anyway so its mainly the exercise I need to work on as I have a lot of toning up to do. I can’t wait to buy some new jeans in the January sales because the ones I have now are falling off me!

It wasn’t long ago when I blogged about holidays. Only three days ago to be exact! I’ve still been looking at holidays to go on and I’m still determined to go next year at whatever cost. I’ve been looking at cheaper options like going for only four days instead of a whole week. Its saves around £90 doing it that way and it also means that we won’t need as much spending money. If it wasn’t coming up to Christmas I might have just booked it last week! Outer Banks vacation homes looks like a nice place to stay if your able to get into that area. Its going to be long time before I can go abroad again.

My mum and dad have needed to have a new bathroom fitted in for a long while now. They’ve had a pretty bad leak for since I left home – three and a half years ago – and they have just never done anything about. Its all my dad’s fault that nothing had been done about it. My mum has been asking him since in the first initial leak started and do you know how he responded? “You’re having a shower wrong! When I have a shower it doesn’t leak!” So apparently, you can have a shower the right way, and you can have a shower the wrong way. News to me!

Anyway. My mum has text me not long ago saying that my dad has called a plumber out for Wednesday. I asked her whether it was about the bathroom but she hasn’t responded yet. I really hope it is. Dad has been talking about how much he wants a double walk in shower for a few months now and maybe he’s finally decided to get one fitted. Its going to be a big job because all the floorboards will need replacing because of the leak and they will probably re-tile the whole room while they’re at it. I think a trip to B&Q would be in order too to pick out the new American Standard toilet, sink, radiators and walk in shower.

I have been doing so well with my healthy lifestyle but I got ill last week and didn’t eat hardly anything for two days. When I got my appetite back I wanted to eat anything and everything, including the not so good for me foods. The worst thing that has come back in night time snacking. For the past three nights I have found myself snacking in the evenings when I’ve not even been hungry. Its really disappointing and I’m really not happy with myself. I dropped 3lbs last week because of me not eating and I was hoping to only put 2lbs back on again so that I would have lost 1lb of real weight. I need to start eating right again. I need to do because I need to look the way I want to look and I need to NOT have huge hips again like I had two months ago. I still wouldn’t consider weight loss supplement but some kind of craving stopper would be fantastic please!

Sometimes when I get a blog I have to write, I have no idea what the hell I’m going to write about it. Like this one for example – Ferrari parts. I know nothing about cars in general never mind specific cars. All I know about Ferrari’s is that they go very fast and its only rich people who can afford them. That’s about as far as my knowledge goes so there is no way I will be able to write a full blog on them. Better luck next time eh!

Does anyone still use website directories? I haven’t submitted any of my website to free directories for years now. I used to submit them all to every single one I came across all over the internet. I think now I am a little more reserved as to who sees my blog, especially my other blog. I think I’m getting a little over the whole blogging thing anyway. I never really have anything interesting to say and when I do, it never comes across the way I want to. I was definitely more into blogging when I used to design my own websites and build them myself back the good old days of iframes and div layers. Unfortunately they are not around any more. Only unfortunately because I have no idea how to build websites based on CSS and PHP. When I was putting new layouts up on an almost weekly basis, I kept blogging to keep people coming back to view my layouts. Now that I use pre-mades, I’m not really that interested. I’d much rather be posting photos over at my Flickr account that blogging at the moment. Maybe it will come back to me in a few weeks.

I was looking at caravan park holidays yesterday for sometime in the summer next year. I don’t know where I’m going to get the cash for it but I’m determined to make sure that the kids get a holiday ever year. When I was younger, we had holidays at least twice a year and now my parents go away 3-4 times a year. They don’t go abroad, they always go on caravan holidays in the UK but they do travel to the south of England and are thinking of going up to Scotland next year. I love caravan holidays. Some people wouldn’t even think about going on them but they are great for the family. You have your own private caravan where you can chill out, eat, watch TV and relax. Then you have the night clubs which have fantastic kids entertainment. I had the best nights ever in those clubs when I was a kid. I used to get really involved and join in all the competitions, getting up on stage and learning all the dance routines to the songs. You also have all the day time entertainment for kids, the swimming pool and the arcades which always cost me a fortune! When we went to Wales in 2006 when Meghan was ten months old, I had to literally drag Alex out of the arcades every single night, haha. You had to walk through it to get to the club and it was a nightmare. Even Emelye came away without as much fuss as Alex! Some people like going on orlando vacations and even though I would not say no if I had the opportunity to go, I think I would rather have several caravan holidays a year than save for years and years for one holiday.

Spain was amazing though. I definitely want to go back there in a few years.

I’ve probably blogged about this before but I still want it doing so its an on going topic! I would really love the kitchen redecorated but to be honest, just some new floor tiles would be nice. We have a horrible, old lino down at the moment and its all ripped near the back door and under then sink area. It just looks a mess and a new flooring would definitely make the whole kitchen look a lot nicer. The landlord said when we first moved in that he was thinking of redecorating the kitchen the first summer we were there. Its now been three summers and its still not been done. I’m still hoping on him just coming round and telling me to clear the kitchen to be done, haha.
