I was talking earlier about how I wanted something that lets me watch films, TV shows and exercise videos that I have on my computer on my TV and since I’ve thought about it, I’ve found two different devices that allows you to do it. The new one I found is the Slingbox and its a lot nicer looking than the one I found before. I wish I had the cash to get one because I’d use it all the time. Maybe in the near future I’ll be able to splash out on one.

One thing I used to love about heading back to school after the summer break was getting all new stationary and textbooks a couple of weeks before we started. I used to head into town and raid all the stationary shops for coloured pens and pencil cases, new notebooks and pencils and novelty erasers and rulers. I had an obsession with gel pens, especially the scented ones. I’m currently considering going to university starting September 2010 and I will definitel be doing a massive stationary shop before I start. I love cracking open a new notebook and writing with pretty new pens. I’m getting excited just thinking about it! I might have to go on a little shop just for the fun of it when I head back to London.

I have been looking for something to transfer what I have on the computer to the TV so I can watch films, TV shows and exercise videos on the TV rather than having to sit at the computer desk. There was an advert on TV the other day about a computer shop who did just that for the guy on the advert and I keep meaning to pop in and ask about it. The Linksys routers that they have on the website look pretty good too. It would be so good if I could watch all the films I have downloaded on my TV. I don’t like sitting at my computer desk to watch things because I usually get distracted and end up not watching it and going online.

Mesothelioma cancer is a rare cancer caused by individuals being exposed to asbestos. The person would have either inhaled or swallowed asbestos fibres which then travel to the lungs and attach to the thin membrane that lines the lungs. My uncles house had a garage in the back garden that had asbestos in it. He died before he had chance to do anything about it but I know the new owners had it pulled down by a specialist and replaced it with a really nice brick garage. Asbestos is really something you shouldn’t mess about with and its definitely worth the money is costs to get someone qualified to tear down a buiding that has asbestos in it.

I came across another weight loss pill today called Liporexall. On the website it says it can make you lose 900% more body fat and gain 700% more lean muscle than other diet pills. Its another one of those miracle pills that doesn’t tell you that you need to be on a low fat/calorie diet and have regular exercise for it to work. It would be lovely if you could just sit in front of the TV eating all those foods you love but know you shouldn’t have and take a pill to stay thin. I know I’d take it if that was the case. I think diet pills only work if your in the right mind set of losing weight in the first place. You should try the regular diet first and if you don’t see any results in the first three months then add the diet pill to it to see if it helps you lose any more.

Things are a bit difficult for me at the moment. Its my engagement party tonight and I should feel really excited and happy but after this morning, I don’t even know if I want to go. When I feel like this I wish I could drive so I could just take off somewhere for an hour to clear my head. It would be even better if I had something like an rv so I could take off around the UK for a few months. I think Meghan would love it although I’m not sure the cat would! I’m sure things will pick up for me soon, at least I hope they do. I can’t keep feeling like this every other week.

Are you looking to go on holiday this year? I know a lot of people want to get away for the summer but I try to avoid holidays during the school holidays. Too many kids! Outer Banks rentals looks like a great place to head over to if your looking to rent a house for the summer. Some of the places on there are gorgeous! American houses are so much different than the houses over here.

I have been selling a lot of stuff online through the online auctions website, ebay.co.uk over the last few days. I’m going back to London with my sister, Amy in July and I have been trying to raise some cash to take with me. Alex paid for the train fare and Amy is paying for the hotel so the only thing I need is to take spending money. Up to now I have made £45 through ebay and I hope to make at least £30 more to take with me. Most of the things I sold went for a long more than I thought so I’m really pleased. Lets hope the things I put on at the weekend are as successful.

My landlord was supposed to be coming yesterday to look at a few things that need fixing. Ever since me and Alex moved in here, there has been a broken window in the kitchen. Now that I’m on my own and I’ve had a closer look at the window, you could literally just push the window in and it would fall out. I phoned the landlord about it last week to tell him he needs to come and fix is because I’m getting worried about someone breaking in with me being on my own now. He didn’t end up coming yesterday because he said he had to work but I’m hoping he comes by the end of the week because I really don’t like it being left like that. I’m also going to tell him about a few other things too like the fact that one of the hinges on the back gate has snapped and its pretty much just hanging there at the moment. If the dog got out, I don’t know what I’d do. I also have a problem with some of the plug sockets and light fixtures along with needing replacement kitchen flooring and a new back door. I guess I could go on forever but I really shouldn’t have to put up with things like that. Hopefully he gets it done for me.
