Alex has gone on a mad one today. I’ve spent the last two hours cleaning the living room and I’m about ready to drop. The worst part about it? He’s had both the TV unit and the computer desk out and made me sort out all the wires… I loath sorting wires out. Why can’t everything be wireless? Everything would be so much neater and a lot less dusty! Anyway, he’s out getting Emelye from school at the moment but he should be back soon as I better carry on with the rest of the room before he gets back. The place looks nicer though.

I would love to write a book. No seriously. Being a published author is one of my all time dreams from being around nine years old. I never seem to be able to sit down and write a book from beginning to end. I start off great and I can probably write in the ending but everything in the middle? Well, there’s nothing in the middle. Its like when your joking when your younger and you read a book as “Once upon a time. The end.” Thats pretty much how my “books” turn out.
If – thats a big if – I was ever able to actually complete a novel from beginning to end I would have no clue where to look for publishing. I have found out about an online self publishing company called Author House who will Publish a Book for you. It doesn’t matter what kind of book you write whether its a womens fiction or travel book, they will help you get it published. It seems a pretty simple way to getting your book looking like an actual book!

I got my tattoo. I got there for 12PM but he didn’t call me in until after half twelve. The design he did for me is beautiful and I loved it straight away. The first twenty minutes of him tattooing me were terrible. I did my whole feeling sick/blurry vision/almost fainting thing. After it passed it was fine though. It really did hurt though. More than either of my other tattoo’s I’ve had. In a way, I’m glad I only got the two hours done yesterday because of the pain but I would have liked to have had it done all at once so I don’t have to go through the lightheadedness again. I only got the koi on the front of my arm but next time I’ll be getting the koi underneath. I’m dreading it because when he was going round the sides on to the same type of skin, it was really quite painful. It’ll be worth it though. Its going to take another six hours – two for the other koi and four for colouring. It’ll look so nice when its finished. My arm is quite stiff today as its all scabbed over. Here’s a little preview of it for now. Nothing more until it heals!

Alex’s band had a gig last night at a pub in Manchester called the Thirsty Scholar. I left home at 6.30PM to catch the bus and then the train to Manchester while Amy had Meghan. I got into Manchester around an hour later and I hung around the pub until the band had sound checked and then me and Alex went for a McDonalds, which by the way was horrible. They were on at 10PM and played for around twenty minutes. They did pretty well and got quite a good response. We stayed in the pub until we had to get our train a 11.30PM. It was full of Manchester United fans as they played last night. I hate football so much. I just hate the culture that comes with it. We were talking to a lad on the train (well, Alex and Matt was) who reminded me of one of the main characters from Green Street. I’m so glad Alex doesn’t like football because I really couldn’t cope with him if he did.

Its my tattoo tomorrow! I’m so, SO excited. The tattoo parlour rang me earlier to make sure I was still coming (its been over a month since I made the booking) and I nearly said “Well, duh. I’ve been counting down the days for about a month!” I really can’t wait. Its at 12PM and I’m in there for two hours. I know I’m not going to deal very well with it (I get very sick and faint with tattoos) but it’ll be totally worth it. I’m not going to take photos until its healed so you probably won’t see a picture of it for about a week but as soon as its all healed up, I’ll make sure I take some decent photos for you all
. Lets just hope he can do more than just the outline so that you can’t see my other tattoo underneath it for as long as it takes me to afford the next session.
I finished my book, The Tenth Circle yesterday by the way. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read another Jodi Picoult. I decided to read PS I Love You. I’m only at the beginning, about three chapters in so I can’t really make a comment but I hope its as good as I expect it to be.

Meghan’s currently trying to draw on the cat. I should stop her really shouldn’t I?
I’ve almost finished my book. I have about 40 pages left to read and I can’t wait to read the end yet I don’t want it to end. I’m trying to decide what to read next. I found The Memory Keepers Daughter in my bedroom drawer that I forgot I had and I’ve been wanting to read that for a while. Too many books and not enough time!
Reese has been doing a lot of contests recently and its got me thinking about wanting to do them myself. I was thinking last night in bed when I couldn’t sleep about what I could give away in them and I thought what is the best thing you could give a person? A book! So, when I got shopping next week on my birthday, I’ll be buying one extra book to use in my first contest. I think I’ll mainly be giving away my favourite books because at least I’ll know I’ll be giving away something decent and not something that will bore the winner to death, haha. What do you think of that by the way? Would any of you enter if the prize was a book?
Well, I’d better go and wake Alex up. I told him I’d wake him up half an hour ago but I thought I would give him a bit of a lie in. I haven’t had my breakfast yet either so I better get on to that.

Do you ever get to the week before payday and have no money whatsoever? Alex and I do it every single month and its not that great. Even though you only have seven days left until payday, thats still a long time to go without cash for. Especially if you need food in the fridge or a sudden bill comes up. I found this online company who will give you payday loans which basically means, a loan until payday. You can borrow anything up to £750 and you will get the money sent your bank account the same day! All you have to do to apply for the loan is fill out an online application form and within a minute, you will be approved for the loan. From there, just tell PayDay you bank details and you will get the cash, in your bank the same working day. How simple is that?! Paying your loan back is just as easy. PayDay simply takes your debit card details from you at the time of borrowing the loan, and on the arranged date of your payday, they will deduct the payment from you bank account for the amount agreed. No need to worry about administration fee’s either as the only charges you get are £25 per £100 you borrow. Nothing more! I’ll definitely consider PayDay Loans in the future if I need to. It would be great to use it if we decided we wanted to get away for the weekend too!

As you may have noticed, I’ve started paid blogging. I said I never would but to be quite honest, I could do with the money. I’m desperate for new clothes with it coming summer and the fact that nothing fits me anymore – I’m still wearing all my clothes from before I had Meghan and I’ve put a bit of weight on since then. I’m going to make sure I do an ordinary blog straight after a paid blog so you can just skip through it. I think once I’ve got enough money together I’ll slow down a bit with it so just bare with me!
For the past two weeks or so, I have been reading The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult. I love Jodi Picoult as you all probably know so I got into it pretty much straight away. I didn’t think much of it to begin with but I’ve gotten over half way through it today and I’m hooked! Its pretty much gone away from the initial case and gone onto another and I can’t wait to see the outcome. I think I’ve figured out who it was who “did it” but it will be nice to see if I’m right or not
. I’m trying to decide what to read next. I think its going to be either another Jodi Picoult or PS I Love You by Cecelia Ahern.
Meghan’s been a little better today but not much. Its been harder though because Alex was back at work today so I’ve had to take all her tantrums up on my own. I think I need to deal with it better but when she’s screaming ALL the time, its hard to keep your cool. I’ll try harder tomorrow to not get mad with her.

If your like me, when it comes to buying birthday gifts for certain people is just the hardest thing to do, ever. For some people you just know what to buy them but there aren’t a lot of people you can say that for. I found this Gift Idea Generator website that basically does what it says on the tin. You chose how much your willing to spend, the age group, what kind of person they are and their sex and it searches the internet to find a gift for that person! This is great, especially since its Alex’s grandma’s birthday next Tuesday and she doesn’t like flowers. I’ve pretty much found what I want to get her now. No wonder this website came top of the shopping category in The Telegraph newspapers 101 Most Useful Websites. I’ll definitely be recommending this website to my friends and family when they come to me with that question of what should I get *insert name here* for their birthday.

Recently Meghan has become extremely hard work. I put it down to her not being very well at first and it still could be that, but for the past week or so she’s been nothing like the little girl I know. It started with little tempers where she’d stamp her feet and scream if she didn’t get what she wanted. This has escalated to screaming fits, crying pretty much all day and generally just being unhappy. I don’t know what to do. Hardly anything makes her smile at the moment. She used to play for hours on her own while I was busy doing whatever it was I was doing but now she demands attention and when I do give it to her, she doesn’t like it. Also, she won’t eat anything. Oh she’ll eat biscuits and crisps (I give her the Organix ones because they have no additives in them and they taste good!) and yogurts and things but when it comes to real food, she won’t touch it. Yesterday I made us all backed potatoes with cheese and she was just playing with it the whole time. Once I’d finished mine, I tried to get her to eat something and it turned into an all out drama. I wasn’t forcing it on her, I was just coaxing her to try a bit and all day after that she was unsettled and really upset. Today she wouldn’t eat any breakfast, ate only half of her lunch and ate about five pieces of pasta for dinner before deciding she didn’t want it. I just don’t know what to do. I think her teeth are really bothering her at the moment which isn’t helping matters at all but what if after that gets better, its still the same? I feel like I’m going mad with this little girl who I just don’t know. Bring the happy Meghan back please.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now and I’ve finally decided to give it a try – I’ve joined PayPerPost and joined the sponsored blogging community. For those who are in the dark, PayPerPost is a blog network for people who can earn money just by blogging! I mean, if you love blogging and you do it on a daily or even a weekly basis, why not get paid for it! I really enjoy blogging but sometimes I just run out of ideas of what to say, so thats another great thing about the sponsored blogging – it gives me reasons to blog! I know a lot of people who do it and none of them have a bad word to say about it. With the money I earn from PayPerPost I think I’m just going to use it to treat myself. I never buy anything as I never have any spare money to do so. I’d love to buy myself a new pair of jeans or a new book that I’m dying to read. Being a mum means all your spare money goes on your children because they are the best people to buy for. I love Meghan’s face lighting up when I buy new a new book – like today when I bought her a Dora the Explorer book. I think maybe its just time I started getting something for myself every now and again.
