I’ve gone all pink for October! I don’t know anyone who’s had breast cancer but its still a worthy cause to support. Plus I LOVE this theme! I’d keep it up for longer than the month other than the fact that it has the pink for October sign on the top. Let me know if you’ve gone pink too .

My Mum had Meghan for an hour and a half today while I went to take photo’s of The Soul. Its so good to be taking photo’s again. I know I take pictures of Meghan every day but its not the same as doing promotional shots with a band. I can’t wait until they do a gig so I start doing live photo’s too. I’m trying to build my portfolio up at the moment so that if I do start a photography course next year like I plan to, I have something to show for myself at the interview. I’ve added the photo’s to my Flickr but here’s a preview.

Well I’m off to bed to watch either 300 or Tales From Earthsea I haven’t decided yet.

By the way, the peppers were nice but I made too much. Oh and the whole not having a chinese again? Yeah, guess what I had for dinner?

Meghan’s not very well today. She’s got diarrhea and because of that she’s got really bad nappy rash too so she’s whimpering when I’m changing her. She seems fine any other way. She’s not eating as much as she usually does but she’ll obviously have a sore stomach. I’ve had to change her clothes three times today which in the end I got sick of doing so I just put her in the bath and then dressed her in her PJ’s – at 4PM haha. I hope she feels better tomorrow. I can’t think of anything she’s eaten thats made her feel ill so I hope its just a 24 hour bug.

I didn’t make the pepper’s last night because after doing everything else that I had to do I just really didn’t want to have to cook as well. We just got a chinese (which by the way was HORRIBLE. I say this every time I get it but I am not getting chinese again). I’m making them tonight because Alex really wants to try them and I really want to see if I can actually make them without completely destroying the recipe!

I gave up on reading The Merrybegot. It was just a bit silly for me to be honest (it was about magic and fairy’s and stuff). I love fantasy but I didn’t like the way it was told. I’m going to start on Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult tonight. There’s no doubt that I will love it and I should have it finished before my books are due back. I went to the library today to get Emelye some new books and I picked up Diary by Chuck Palahniuk. It looks really good and since I enjoyed Fight Club I thought I might as well try his other books.

I better go downstairs and start dinner so we can start on the films. I need to send Alex out to get wine because I’m not missing out on that!

We’ve been at it again. With the shopping I mean. We had to go back into town to get the few things that we forgot to get yesterday and we ended up coming home with five DVD’s. We bought Green Street (which apparently I’ve just found out, is called Hooligans too), The 51st State, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later and Garfield 2 for Emelye. I love 28 Days so I hope 28 Weeks is just as good. We’re having a nice night in tomorrow night and watching both of them with a bottle of wine (or beer in Alex’s case) then going up to bed and watching episodes of Prison Break until stupid o’clock like we used to with 24 when I was pregnant. I miss that.

I bought a hair dye too because my hair colour is horrible at the moment. Its my natural colour and the sun has streaked it blonde so it just looks a dirty brown. Its awful. I bought a red because I miss being red and at the moment I can afford to dye it every six weeks to keep the colour looking nice. I gave Amy the money to buy herself one too so that when she comes round to do mine I can do her’s too.

I better go. Meghan’s asleep and I need to make mine and Alex’s dinner. I got a recipe from watching Jamie Oliver’s Jamie At Home the other night and I really can’t wait to make it. Its stuffed peppers with tomatoes and chilli’s. Yummy.

I’ve just gone really dizzy for some reason. Eugh, I feel ill.

Anyway, since all this rubbish is going on with people stealing pictures of kids and passing them off as their own, or worse, all my Flickr photo’s of Meghan and Emelye are now friends and family. Most of the people that view my photo’s are in my friend’s list anyway so no one will really miss out. It just seems a bit pathetic that I have to do this so that Meghan doesn’t get used as someone else’s… I’m looking for another word but all I can come up with is fantasy. If your not on my Flickr friends then let me know. I will only add you if I know you, or at least feel like I can trust you, for obvious reasons. I’d rather not get 10 comments per photo (even though I don’t now) than people take photo’s of her.

Alex and I did some major shopping today. We bought Emelye’s Nintendo DS Lite, in pink of course, with Purr Pals and My Sims games and four Rainbow Fairy books. We also got Meghan a new coat and trainers and two Dora books. Apart from the coat and trainers its all birthday stuff. We have decided to buy Emelye a present for Meghan’s birthday and visa versa. Just so neither feel left out. We still have some stuff to get so we’re going back into town tomorrow again.

I’m buying mine and Amy’s tickets for Korn in the morning . The gig is in January, the 19th I think and she’s paying for the tickets as my Christmas present. Korn we’re really good last time I saw them so I’m looking forward to it.

Speaking of music, Alex’s new band The Soul have their first song up on myspace. Go and have a listen and let me know what you think. Most of it was recorded in our kitchen so its a pretty good sound considering! They’re practicing in the kitchen at the moment as Alex’s brother Joe has joined the band as the bass player so they are teaching him the song. This band sounds more promising than the last so fingers crossed.

I finished The Savage Garden not long after I posted. I started The Merrybegot by Julie Hearn not long after. I’m going up to bed in a minute to carry on with it. My books are due back at the library next Thursday so I want to get this one finished before then.

My mum took me and Meghan to Toys R Us earlier on and I bought Meghan the Fisher Price Baby Grand Piano for her birthday. I went to buy her this but when I looked at it, it wasn’t as great as I thought. Meghan loved music. She sits on mine or Alex’s knee and plays on his drum kit. She plays on my mum’s organ when she goes there and she loves music in general. It cost £40 but I think it will be money well spent. I’ve already got her some clothes (which I need to take back because of what I blogged about in my last post) and a jigsaw type game. I want to get her something Dora because she absolutely loves her (what little girl doesn’t?) I would like to get her something where she can put shapes in and then I’ll probably spend the rest of my money on books.

Emelye’s birthday present has been sorted for months. We’re getting her a pink Nintendo DS Lite with PurrPals and My Sims games. I’ve already got her a Nintendogs game that I bought from Amy as she had two. We’re going to buy the DS tomorrow in town as Alex is off work.

Emelye’s and Meghan’s birthday’s are five days apart. Emelye’s on the 12th and Meghan’s on the 17th. We’re having a family party on the 13th (the Saturday in between). I’m actually looking forward to it. I need to have a think about what food I can make because I don’t want Meghan eating loads of rubbish and she’ll be having whats there. I’m going to let her have a tiny bit of cake while its her birthday but not much. Last time she tried ice cream she was sick so I worry that it might have the same reaction. I need to sort the cake out soon as the party is in just over two weeks (!!!). There’s a cake shop in Liverpool that my mum has always had cake’s made at that I’ll probably end up going to. I’m going to have just one cake made but split in two so that there’s Cinderella on one side and Dora on the other. Thats if they can do it. Lets hope they can because it’ll look great.

Once Meghan wakes up I’m going to have to have a walk up to the chemist. Alex’s eye’s are bad again so he needs some drops. They flare up every couple of months and he can’t see anything. Its because he’s not had a lot of sleep I think. He’s been doing band stuff after work every night and its catching up on him I think.

I’ve almost finished reading The Savage Garden. Its really good. Nothing like I expected and it did take me a while to get into it but I’ve read the majority of it in the last four days. I have 30 pages left so I’m off to read those so I can take it back to the library when I go to the chemist.

I’m having big problems trying to figure out what clothes size Meghan is right now. At the moment she has a 12-18 months t-shirt on, 6-9 months trousers and a 6-12 months vest. See what I mean? These are the only 6-9 trousers that fit her anymore so I know she’s not that. I’ve only just started buying 9-12 but I’ve just found a 12-18 top that I was given and it fits perfectly. 12-18 trouser fit at the waist but are quite long in the leg. The problem I have it that I have just bought her loads of clothes for her birthday in 9-12 months and I’m trying to decide whether I should take them back and swap them for 12-18. Its all a bit complicated for me this.

I’ve almost done with sorting this theme out. I need to make a couple more pages I think. I have no content on here at all. It looks a bit bare.

Well thats not something I see everyday. Here’s me happily browsing Flickr when I come across full on porn all over his/her account. Obviously I reported it. It was just there on the front page. What if Emelye clicked Flickr by mistake and she saw that? *shudders* I dread to think. She accidentally went on porn the other week and my heart jumped into my throat. She’s got this tendancy to just type what she thinks the url is in the address bar and hope for the best. She was looking for a breakfast cereal website called Fantasy World of Fun. You can only imagine what kind of thing came up instead because she put the wrong thing. Thankfully she didn’t see. Thats something I am not ready to start explaining.

Well not once I’ve finished messing about with this theme anyway. I promise. I’ve just been searching the internet for this theme because its honestly the only one I have ever LOVED having on my website. Its loads better now with the updates too. I am way too tired to change the things that need changing so your gonna have to put up with it like this for now. I’ll sort it out tomorrow I promise. Good night!

PS: The book I am reading now is very much making me want to read The Divine Comedy. Its something I have to get hold of and I will read from start to finish even if it takes me months.

I really shouldn’t be on here. I really should be washing the dishes and giving the kitchen a good clean while Meghan is finally sleeping. Its taken me almost an hour of crying and shouting for me to get her to sleep and I decide to spent this free time I have on here rather than doing what I should be doing… Never mind. If I’m quick I might be able to do both.

Incubus were fantastic. I’m so pleased I went to see them again. The seats we had were amazing too. They didn’t play Shade of Green which I didn’t think they would but I would have liked to have heard it. The support band (despite the name – Puggy) were quite good. I’d love to see them in a smaller venue as they just didn’t sound right in such a big arena. I’m excited for the Black Crusade now. Only two months away! I want to see Queens of the Stone Age but I’m trying to figure out if I can afford it. Its only £19.50 a ticket but I’d have to buy Amy’s as well.

I missed my doctors appointment this morning. We only woke up at 9AM and I just wasn’t in the mood for rushing. I’ll change it for next week sometime.

I better start on that kitchen. Alex had a mate round last night while I was out and had a chinese and it really stinks.

I’m making myself blog before it gets too long to remember everything I need/want to say. I’m also making myself upload all my photo’s to Flickr before I have so many it takes me hours. It seems like I have to make myself blog a lot recently. I just don’t have the time at the moment I think. Plus Alex has been at home for the past four days so I’ve been spending time with him while I can. He’s on a short week this week which means he’s working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, off Sunday and then he’s back in Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I won’t get to see him a lot really. I won’t see him at all tomorrow as I’m going to see Incubus. I’m leaving before he gets back from work and won’t be home until 12AM which by that time he’ll be in bed. I can’t wait to see Incubus though . I saw them a few years back and they were really good. I was supposed to be seeing them in May but they canceled and rescheduled until tomorrow. I’m leaving at 5PM to get the train with Amy so Alex’s mum’s coming to sit with Meghan until Alex gets home at about 6.15. We’re going to get some dinner in Manchester and maybe have a look round the shops before heading to the arena. Can’t wait!

I’ve made myself a doctors appointment for Friday morning because I’m having problems with my left knee. About a month ago if not longer it started cracking as I walk up the stairs. My mum’s knee’s crack so I didn’t really think anything of it. The past couple of days its started cracking louder and its hurting all the time now. I can’t walk on it properly. I just want to know what wrongs with it really. I hope its nothing major.

Alex and I tried watching Casino Royale on Monday night but we just found it so boring. The Daniel Craig thing is what got me watching it because I’m not into James Bond but even he didn’t keep me occupied. I watched the rest of Children of Men this morning. Its quite political. I can’t really say if I enjoyed it or not. I’ll watch it again though if I get the chance. I posted both films back to LOVEFiLM and hopefully this time they will send me part of Prison Break Season 2. Its been at the top of my list since it came out last month and they still haven’t sent it to me. If I don’t get it this time I’ll have to find it online because the new series starts on Monday and I don’t want to be behind.

Meghan can say Dax now, well she says “dasss” lol. Its really cute. Did I tell you she started clapping hands the other week? And she also says “ow” which I think is her version of my “oh no.” She was 11 Months on Monday. Its less than one month until her first birthday. I don’t want to talk about that right now. I don’t want her to grow up as fast as she is.

I’m making myself blog before I go to sleep. Do you know this is the latest I have been up in a long time? I’ve been working on putting this new theme up and tweaking little bits of it. Its still not done how I would like it but its going to have to do for now because I’m going cross-eyed. I haven’t been very well over the past couple of days which is why I haven’t been blogging. That and I just don’t have the time anymore. I can never seem to find the time to blog. But yeah, yesterday I woke up with a cold which wasn’t the greatest thing ever but its not as bad today. I still feel like crap but I went to bed at 8PM last night yet I’m still up after eleven tonight. As soon as I’m finished I’m off to sleep. Thats if I can. Alex is downstairs recording songs with his new band and its pretty loud to be honest. I’ve told him to be quiet but its still the same as it was before I asked him. Its great that he’s with a new band and they’re recording already but 11PM in the kitchen isn’t the best time or place to do it.

My mum and dad went away yesterday to Devon for the week. Its nice to see that they’re getting on well. Amy’s got the house to herself but she’s got someone staying every night so she’s not on her own. I’m going round tomorrow to see her while Alex does some more recording. She stayed here on Friday night. We started watching Children of Men but then we got distracted playing Pokemon. I liked what I saw and I keep meaning to watch the rest but I have so many things I want to do that I can’t find the time. I went to town with her on Saturday afternoon but I had to go home because I wasn’t feeling very well and Meghan was tired. She fell asleep on the bus before we’d even come out of town!

Well I had loads more that I wanted to say but I’m so tired that I can’t remember. Hope you like the new theme!
