Right, well I’ve started a blog about five times since Monday and have never finished because either Meghan’s woken up or I ended up doing something else and it got too late to finish it off. Or both. I’m going to try and not get distracted so I can finally post a blog up. I’m not going to get another chance now because I have a ba-zillion things to do before we go on holiday tomorrow.

On holiday? Yes tomorrow I’m going on holiday. Its something that kept slipping my mind for some strange reason and all of a sudden, here it is. Me, Alex, Emelye and Meghan are off to Wales for a long weekend. We are just going to Prestatyn which is about forty-five minutes away from us. Its not an amazing holiday but its a holiday. Its also the first time we’ve been away together as a family. Its also the first time me and Alex have been away together too. We kept planning to go away together before I got Meghan but we never did and now all our holidays will be with the kids until they’re all grown up. Which I don’t mind because I plan to go away every year to somewhere exotic like my nana and grandad do when I hit retirement. Unlike my nana who packs two weeks in advance, I have yet to pack anything and only decided yesterday that it was a good day to start thinking about it and start washing all the clothes we need. Well yes that would be a great idea if the weather was nice enough to dry everything fast or we had a drier but since we have neither, its all a mad rush.

Anyway, enough of that. Meghan’s refusing to have a nap so I better make this quick so I can go and see to her.

On Monday there was a car boot sale and fun day on at the community centre/club near our house. Alex and I went with Meghan to see what there was. I got Angels and Demons by Dan Brown for 50p and The Kooks album for 75p! The books a bit battered but I prefer to see it as ‘loved’. I haven’t had chance to listen to the album yet so I hope it works. We also got Garfield The Movie for Emelye and Alex got three albums for £5. We were having a lovely time until my ex boyfriend walked past. I haven’t seen Alan since I was 17 when he was trying to get back with me and then as soon as I showed some willing he decided he didn’t want to get back with me after all. He was my first ‘love’ even though I didn’t feel the same way I feel about Alex at all. Its a totally different feeling with Alex. I can’t explain it, you’ll just have to take my word for it. Anyway, after I saw him I made it my mission to show him that me and Alex were the happiest couple walking the planet and we had the perfect life etc. etc. Only my plan went completely the opposite ending up in us having an arguement over something ridiculous and me storming off with Meghan. I don’t even know why we argued but I have never, EVER stormed off from Alex before. I don’t know what got into me. There was no need for it at all and as soon as I did it I felt terrible but I couldn’t just turn round and go back like everything was okay. Alex followed me home in a mood, obviously and we didn’t talk for a while but we both said sorry and sorted the bedroom out together while Meghan had a sleep. We went back to the club at about 4PM for an hour and I saw Alan again. He said hi to me and then carried on looking at me and I didn’t know whether to go over or not. I didn’t but then I felt bad that I hadn’t but I honestly don’t know what I would say to him if I had have done.

Tuesday Alex and I got our hair cut. There’s photo’s on my Flickr account if you’d like to see. I didn’t know what I thought of it when I first had it done but I love it now. I don’t have a parting anymore, its just all forward and its so much nicer than it was before. Alex’s hair looks nice too. It was getting too long and even though I love it like that, it does suit him shorter.

Can’t you tell I’m rushing? Its a good job she’s a good baby. She’s just talking away in her cot.

I went to the Trafford Centre with my Mum and Amy today since Alex was working. I got some new trainers that are gorgeous. I’ll put a photo up on Flickr later on. Meghan just won’t sit in her pram at the moment. She hates it and she just starts getting really upset every time I try and put her in it. I’m going to have to sort that out because I can’t keep carrying her everywhere.

I’m going to have to go because she’s getting quite loud and pissed off by the sounds of things.

Well it is for me anyway. Meghan said “Mama” today ! It was the cutest thing ever. She’s said it about five times today now. I can’t wait until she wakes up so I can hear her say it again .

I finished Mercy today. I loved it but I knew the ending before I read it. I started on Fight Club straight away. I don’t think it will take me very long as there’s only 200 pages. I’m gonna stop myself getting books from the library so I can the ones read that I’ve bought. I must have about eight lined up that I haven’t read yet because my library books need reading first.

Pokemon Diamond came yesterday and I love it. Its so good. I don’t have enough time to play it though! I wish I had the walk through because I like to do things ‘properly.’

My baby is a GIRL, not a boy. Is it so hard for you to see that? Two people today have called her a boy and she was wearing a PINK hoodie. Just because its a hoodie and your babies are in pretty dresses, does not mean she’s male! Oh my God some people are stupid! If I don’t know whether a baby is male or female by their clothes – because yes, babies are hard to tell the sex of sometimes – I just say ‘baby’ not ‘him’ or ‘her.’ One of these days I’m going to end up shouting at somebody “SHE’S A GIRL YOU RETARD!”

Sorry, end of rant.

In other news, I bought the new Jodi Picoult book today Second Glance. I has to buy it with it being half price. I didn’t have a choice in the matter.

Yesterday I took Daisy to the vets for her first injections. And it turns out Daisy is male! I was like “What? Really?” Even the vet said she’s not suprised I thought he was female because he’s very pretty. So now, Daisy is named Jak. Its all a bit of a shock really. I keep calling him Jak so that he gets used to his name but I feel like I’m being stupid not calling him Daisy. I’ll have to buy him a new collar because the one I have for him is bright pink. Poor cat. I bet he’s all confused.

I’ve been really tired today. Meghan woke up really upset at midnight and it took me a good half an hour to calm her down. She then woke up at about 5AM for her bottle and then was up for the day at 8AM. She had her nap at around 12PM and she didn’t wake up until almost three so it gave me chance to have a nap. I’m still tired though. I made dinner for when Alex got home from work so I don’t have to make it late but I still have the dishes to wash and the living room needs a good tidy. I was supposed to be going into town but with us both only waking up at three, I didn’t really have the time. I’m going to go tomorrow instead.

My hairdressers rang me up earlier telling me there is a special offer on for existing customers – either 10% off or a free manicure/pedicure. I told him that I really needed my hair cut but that I can’t afford the £33 that it usually costs me for the stylist I have. He told me to wait a second and then came back on the phone saying he can book me in for £19.95! So I’m getting my hair cut next Tuesday at 1PM. I’m so excited! Now I just need to find a style that I like.

I’ve got Alex watching The 4400 at the moment. We finished the first part of Prison Break last week and since the second part didn’t come out until Monday, I rented that instead. He really likes it and its nice for me to see it again. I only ever saw the first season because I kept missing episodes so I can’t wait to see the next two after this. I hope we can finish the first season this week because I really want to see the second part of PB. I can’t wait to see what happens.

I only have about 100 pages left in Mercy. Its really good. I can’t wait to finish it though because I’m reading Fight Club next. I love the film so I’m hoping this is as good or better.

Just because I have nothing to say, other than – my new bag from ebay came yesterday! And I just bought Pokemon Diamond from ebay for £14.80! – I am leaving you with this photo.

God I’m fed up. Every time Meghan’s asleep I become extremely fed up yet I love it when she’s asleep because of the free time I get. I think its because I can see all the housework I have to do and the last thing I want to be doing at eight o’clock at night is housework. I’m gonna have to do it though because I really don’t want to be doing it in the morning. I’d like a lie in and if I don’t do it tonight, I’ll have to stay awake after Meghan’s had her feed to clean. I don’t have much time to tidy when she’s awake. I don’t know how you mum’s do it. When she’s awake I just spend most of my time with her, keeping her entertained and making sure she’s not getting into something she shouldn’t be.

Most of my free time at the moment, if not cleaning, is reading. I finished Nineteen Eighty-Four which I’m so glad I read. It did drag out a bit only because I had to keep re-reading things to understand it more but its a fantastic book. I’m now reading Mercy by Jodi Picoult which I’m reading any chance I get because its so good. I went to the library yesterday to take my books back and I found Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult too. She’s such an amazing author. I still have Tenth Circle, The Pact and Nineteen Minutes that I’ve bought but haven’t read yet.

I better get started because its nearly nine o’clock already. I just want to get in bed and watch Prison Break .

I have nothing to say other than OMG WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!?!?

Today is my sister Amy’s 17th birthday. Its quite scary to think of her as being 17 years old. I was four when she was born so I remember quite a lot about her growing up. She’s my ‘little’ sister and being seventeen doesn’t make her very little anymore. I’ve spent most of the day with her today which has been really nice. We don’t get to spend a lot of time together anymore with me not living with my parents and us both having our own lives. Its nice to know that we are still as close as we have always been though. I don’t know what I’d do without her .

Alex and I have been watching episodes of Prison Break season two for the past two days. We’re renting it from LOVEFiLM and since we put the first episode on, we’ve not been able to stop watching it. We did start to watch it when it was on TV but we missed quite a few so just stopped. In two days we’ve seen eight episodes and we’ll probably watch at least one before we go to sleep (we’re actually half way through one but Alex is having problems with his eyes so he’s gone to put some water on them). I love Prison Break. I can’t wait until 24 season six and Lost season three is out.

I’ve very nearly finished my book. Only twenty pages to go!

I’ve been swapping and changing my mind about whether I should do this or not but I have decided to start using Pay Per Post. Pay Per Post, just in case you haven’t heard about it, is a website where advertisers pay you to put blog ads on your website to promote their services. This way, the company will start to get more business and you get paid just for telling everyone about it!

Since Alex has been out of work a lot this year and we are still quite behind with things money wise, I thought it would be a good idea for me to start making a bit of money. Its going to be nice to be able to stay at home with Meghan all day and still bring some money into the house. Even the little bits help and especially with all the birthdays and Christmas that we have coming up. Plus since Meghan’s clothes size changes every couple of months, it will be nice to make that extra bit of money for her. Its nice for me to be making money to as sometimes I feel a bit useless since I don’t work. Getting paid for blogging is the best idea ever.

I FINALLY have one! I’m SO fuckin’ happy! I had to add the F word for effect. I have no games though… That sucks.
