I have been so uncomfortable for the past week. Its probably due to the fact that I’m now 31 weeks. I just can’t seem to be comfy no matter whether I stand, sit or lie down. I’m hoping she turns around soon before she gets too big too because shes feet down at the moment from what I can feel. No matter how crappy I feel, I’m still extremely glad to be pregnant .

The weather is getting better. It even rained today. Yes, rained! Its going to rain until Thursday apparently too so I’m happy! Carry on raining for all I care haha.

I really feel like I have done absolutely nothing today. Oh wait, I actually haven’t done anything today. I got up around 10.30 and then sat watching TV until 12.30. I did a couple of washes and put them outside on the washing line and apart from making lunch and dinner, I’ve done nothing else. I did start doing the bedroom but I felt sick and it was way too hot. I spent half an hour in a cool bath because I really thought that I might pass out if I didn’t cool down. Bring on winter.

For the past couple of days I’ve not really had much of an appetite but I’ve been really thirsty all the time. I don’t really like drinking too much as I have to go to the toilet enough as it is! Its probably just the heat but I hate not having an appetite and having to still eat because I know I have to. I’m craving chocolate though and we don’t have any .

Congratulations to Jenn who will have had Ryan by now. I can’t wait to see him. I hope both mother and baby are well.

I better go and wash the dishes, sweep the living room floor and put the covers back on the bed. If it stays as hot as this I’ll just have to start doing everything after 8PM when it cools down.

Guns N Roses wasn’t as good as I expected. Don’t get me wrong, they were fantastic… when they finally got on stage and actually played a song. I think they were due on at around 9.30 and they didn’t start until around 10.30. They then carried on playing as though they hadn’t come an hour late. Its a good job we didn’t have to get the train home as the last train is at 11.15PM. By 11.45 both me and Amy had got sick of waiting around for them to finish (plus my dad was waiting outside in the car for us and my back was really hurting). I also expected all of the band to be there minus Slash but it turns out it was Axl Rose and ‘his band.’ None of the rest of the original members were there. Because of this, every musician had their own section where they played some solo stuff to prove that they were ‘good enough’ I suppose. The actual songs were really good. They started with Welcome To The Jungle which I knew they would. I have no idea what they finished with as we left early. The first support band was Towers of London who I’ve always wanted to see so I was really pleased about that. I don’t like Bullet For My Valentine… I hadn’t heard them before last night. I feel really sorry for Amy because I felt like it was me that made us leave early.

I got a letter this morning from the doctors about my blood test along with a prescription for some iron tablets. I thought I was overtired for a reason. Lets hope this helps. I’m going to go and pick them up once I’ve finished this. I’m having a lot of problems with my back lately. I had to lie on the couch with a hot water bottle on my right side all yesterday morning as thats the only thing that works. I know I can take paracetamol but I don’t want to take anything if I really don’t have to. Its not too bad today. Not at the moment anyway. I turned 30 weeks on Saturday. I’m three quarters of the way there. Only ten weeks left and I have yet to buy anything. I really need to get that sorted out.

Today has been one of those days where I’m like “Whatever happened to England being cold and miserable? I much prefer it that way.” I’d just like a big storm to break up the heat a little bit. It was nice when I went food shopping at Asda though – air conditioning is the greatest.

I’m getting myself ready to go to a party at the moment. I’m just SO looking forward to it (I know sarcasm is hard to read but that was sarcasm). I can’t be bothered with it really. The fact that its fancy dress and I don’t have any fancy dress doesn’t make me want to go any more either though. I can’t afford to buy anything and I don’t have anything that I could wear that fits. Aimee’s picking me up anytime between now and about 7.30. I just have to wait for her to text me to know what time she’ll be here. I’m gonna look so odd in ‘normal’ clothes. Lets hope I don’t have to stay too long.

I’m so miserable arn’t I? Haha.

Today has been pretty slow. I got up at 10AM and that was only because I was in dire need of the toilet haha. I would have stayed there for another hour if I could of. We had our new TV unit delivered at about 12.30PM and Alex got up not long afterwards and helped me put it up. It looks really nice. Its a lot better than the old one and actually goes with our furniture now! It was about 3.30 by the time we’d finished putting it in place and swapped things from the old stand to the new one. We have both been so tired all day. Its typical that now we can actually go to bed (we have Emelye tonight), we’ve woken up. We’re gonna watch Big Brother then go and put a film on in bed with the light off and hopefully that’ll help us to sleep.

This rain we’re supposed to be having, erm, where is it? Its not been very sunny but its still humid and NO RAIN! Well it rained a bit over night and what idiot went and left washing on the line outside? I’d like a big thunderstorm please but I don’t think we’ll get one of those. Here’s to wishful thinking anyway.

I don’t know how or why I keep forgetting but I’m going to see Guns N Roses on Sunday night with Amy =D. I really can’t wait. I hope Boo doesn’t disapprove with the noise too much but I’m gonna have a great time. I haven’t been to a gig for so long. The last one I went to was in February (apart from Alex’s a few months back) and I didn’t really enjoy that. I don’t even really like GNR but its someone I’d love to go and see, even though Slash won’t be there.

Spent this morning in town trying to sort our fantastic finanicial situation out again. We finally have it sorted out now though so no more going back-and-to to town every week. I made myself an appointment at the opticians on Monday too. I think its about time I had a check-up and I really need some new glasses so I’m looking forward to going.

I’m really not coping with this heat. Its been 30°C+ for the past two days and its the worst thing in the world. I can hardly sleep and I’m so moody. Its going to rain tomorrow (apparently) which I can’t wait for. At least that’ll cool things down a bit.

Yesterday Alex and I went with my mum to buy her laminate flooring for her living room. I helped Alex put it down all afternoon and we managed to get it finished in about five hours. It only took so long because the saw we have has become really blunt. The room looks really nice now and she’s really pleased with it.

I had a midwife appointment today and I had to have a blood test. I don’t mind having blood tests but today after it, I went really dizzy and couldn’t really see properly. It was just because of the heat. I heard Boo’s heartbeat which I always love hearing. Alex came with me too which he usually doesn’t do so he got to hear it too.

After my appointment, Aimee came round. We stayed here for about an hour and then we went to Walton Gardens as she had to have some pictures taken that hopefully are going to go into the local papers. I got to help taking the photos which was great =D. It’ll be nice to see them in the paper and know I’ve helped with them.

Yes, I’ve had my blog back for all of ten days and I already have ‘blog-block.’ Well done me. I just have nothing interesting to write about. I don’t do anything anymore. Well I do actually do things but I just don’t think it sounds interesting when its written down. Maybe I need to start being more colourful with what I say (I don’t mean swearing every other word!). I don’t know.

Anyway, last night I went to Faye’s BBQ for her 18th birthday. Aimee picked me up on the way there with Kathryn and me and Aimee left at about 9.45. Most of them went into Manchester for the night. I’d have loved to have gone but theres no point me going into Manchester clubbing when I can’t drink and I’ll be worrying about being bumped into all the time. I had a good time anyway even though I was only out for a couple of hours. I have Jayne’s 18th next Saturday and then no parties until my baby shower in August! Oh no wait, I have a wedding in August too. I have no idea who either of them are haha.

Yesterday I was 29 weeks. I can actually see a change in my stomach this week. I’m definatly all front which is good because that’ll mean hopefully my stars won’t stretch at all. Only eleven weeks left! Everyone go and give Jenn some support. If little Ryan doesn’t turn himself around by the 26th, she’ll have to have a c-section. I hope he stops being stubborn and turns for her.

It looks so much nicer in the front room now this flooring is down. It makes the room look so much bigger. Alex managed to move the internet cable downstairs too so now we have the computer in here. It was in what will be the baby’s room and we’ve been saying for months that we’ll move the computer downstairs. We can now get started on decorating that room and Emelye’s room. We’re leaving ours until after New Year just because we can’t afford to do all three bedrooms. I went to Babies R’ Us today to have a look at the nursery sets. I have no idea which bedding I am going to get for Meghan. I really like this one but I also like this. I’m thinking the second one could be better as its brighter but the first one is just lovely. Theres so much to chose from, I’m so confused lol.

I had a great time last night with Aimee. They didn’t have any sandwiches left in Starbucks when we got there so we just got ourselves a drink in sat in there for about an houring talking. Its crazy how much has happened in the three days we haven’t seen each other. We (well Aimee) decided to go to McDonalds for dinner which suited me fine! I was going to come home on the bus but she suggested we go back to hers and then she’d take me home and come in for a bit. I got back at about 9.15PM and Aimee left at ten. Its strange not seeing everyone from college all the time but at least I’m keeping intouch with the people that matter to me.

The rest of the wooden flooring for the living room came today. We’ve had it three-quarters finished for the past three weeks or so as we’ve been waiting for the last two packages to be delivered. Its taken them long enough. Alex is finishing it off now so when he’s done, I’ll post pictures. Its a shame I don’t have before pictures although I really wouldn’t want to show you how bad that carpet we had down was… I ordered a curtain pole and a new TV unit yesterday. They should come within the next two weeks. If nothing else, at least the living room will be almost finished off.

It was Aimee’s 18th birthday party on Sunday night and both me and Alex went. It was at the hotel that we stayed at last year for Alex’s mates wedding. Most of the people from college were there so it was nice to see everyone. I had a really nice time and Alex got a little bit drunk (under-exaggerating there just a bit). I’m taking Aimee to Starbucks tomorrow night for her birthday present. I had no idea what to get her and I suggested we go there and get anything we want, as in food as well as a drink. Everyone knows how expensive it is in there so it’ll be a nice treat for both of us.

Alex went and changed his tattoo today. Faye’s boyfriend is a tattoo artist and she brought him to Aimee’s party. He got talking to him and he saw the tattoo on his arm in the exact font that Alex actually wanted in the first place. I told him to go and change it before he gets it done and regrets it. He’s now also getting it on the back of his forearm too rather than on his right side. It’ll look a lot better and it works out cheaper too which means I can pay for it on my own if no one else can put money towards it.

Well I better go and help Alex hold this wood he’s cutting. I’m really pleased I have a partner who wants to make the house look nice. My dad is the complete opposite and as long as everything works alright, he doesn’t care what it looks like.
