Family Time

What I love about the Nintendo Wii is that its definitely a family game system. You can see on all the adverts for it that its a family system and that its something that you can all play together on family night. I don’t have four remote’s, only two but even with two we can play together. We all love playing Mario Kart and take turns playing together. The only reason I miss having four is for Mario Party 8. I borrowed my mum’s one evening so that me, Alex and Emelye could play and it was great. We like to play board games but they always take so long to set up and Mario Party 8 is a board game that takes minutes to set up! Meghan’s a bit too young to play Mario Party 8 but she’s great at Mario Kart. I really want to get the new Super Mario Bros game for the Wii soon. I think I might make that my nest big purchase.

A Quiet Place

I have always wanted a house with a separate study in. Specifically a green study. I’d have a huge oak desk a comfy leather chair. Tons and tons of book shelves that would be stocked full of all my books. A big old fashioned leather couch in front of an open fire to read on a cold morning. I’d also have french doors that opened out onto the garden for the summer months. I’ll get it eventually but for now I’ll just have to make due with Meghan chewing my ear off while I’m trying to read and/or write.

Can I Not Just Use My Bank?

When I went into the bank today to withdraw some money I was offered a life insurance policy. Can I not just withdraw my money without being sold something? They asked for my phone number so they could call me with a quote and I gave it to them - stupidly - but I won’t be answering the call. They have sent me about it a few months ago and I wasn’t interested then. I was just in a rush today and didn’t want to be mithered about everything!

If that wasn’t bad, I was then approached by an American preacher of some kind on the way home. I didn’t let him get far enough for him to explain himself, I just told him I wasn’t interested and then carried on walking.

If I want something, I will go and find it myself. I don’t need people coming up to me in the street talking to me about God and I don’t need to be sold things in my bank! Rant over.

Still Job Hunting

I’m still looking for a job but still not having a lot of luck. Apparently, according to a government survey, my town is one of the worst for unemployment in the UK. So its not for want of trying, there just isn’t anything out there. The job search websites just have nothing in my area and things outside of my area that I can actually do, are not worth travelling too because by the time I have paid to get there and back, I won’t have really earned any money! I’d love to go on the job websites I go on and find it looking like the West Palm Beach job search website where there are loads of jobs to choose from. Hopefully the economy will improve in the next couple of years so I can find something.

Manly Things

I find it quite funny that you can buy testosterone cream. Apparently, its used to help with hair loss, impotence and increased muscle strength.I knew you could get tablets for that sort of thing but never a cream. Where would you put it?! I probably should take this seriously but I just think its funny. Would an oestrogen cream give you bigger breasts? I’d go for that ;).

A Little Help

On days like today when I feel lethargic, weak and just want to spend the day on the couch, I wish I just had a quick fix weight loss supplement like the ones over at www.naturalfatburner.org. But, doing it that way, you don’t get the great feeling that you get after a workout. You also don’t see those slight changes in yourself like healthier skin and hair because you’re eating better.Its worth the effort in the end even if you do have days like this where you could quite easily just give up. My goal today is to fill my body full of fresh food to bring it back to normal.

Computer Products

I haven’t bought any computer products from a long time. The last thing I bought was my new computer and all-in-one printer which was over a year ago now.When I still lived at home, I bought new computer products on an almost monthly basis. Whether it was a new game or an upgraded keyboard or just a little gadget.

Right now I would love a media streamer that allows me to play internet TV onto my actual TV. It would make my life a lot easier when it comes to doing online workouts and also watching the programs that I have missed during the week. I have wanted one for a long time but I just never have the money to buy one. I found one that I want but its over £100 so its going to be a while before I can actually put the cash up to buy it. I also found something called a KVM switch which allows you to use the same keyboard, mouse and monitor over several different towers. Its a great idea if you have several computers on the go.

I think once I have things sorted with money - and a job - I’ll probably start investing with my computer again. I miss buying new products.

Pain Relief

Alex’s mum gets a lot of joint pain in her knee’s and ankles. I found this joint pain remedies website that may help her. Every time it gets cold she gets joint pain and if she sits for long periods of time. It would be nice to give her some kind of relief from it. She thinks her weight doesn’t help her but it can’t help to try out different remedies.

Skin Problems

Meghan’s getting a little bit of eczema again on her arms. She had it when she was a baby, pretty much all over but it went away. She’s had dry skin since then but she woke up the other morning with sores on her arm where she’d been scratching in the night. Its nothing to worry about and she doesn’t need any eczema treatment other than regular creams to soothe it. I had eczema when I was a child up to about ten or eleven. Alex has had it from being a baby up until now but that’s because of his allergies. Hopefully Meghan’s just stays at this stage and doesn’t get any worse.

Website Traffic

All of my websites don’t really get many visitors and half of it is probably by fault. All three are blogs and I really don’t blog enough. I just don’t have the time and then when I do have the time, I don’t have anything to say. I find myself blogging constantly for about two weeks and then nothing at all for the next two weeks! Sometimes I make the time to write scheduled blogs so that if I don’t end up having anything to say, there is still something going on over there for people to read.

I wouldn’t even know if any of my blogs are listed on any search engines. I found the best seo software for the job if I decided to actually try and get more traffic to my websites. I’m a bit of a private person - even though I write blogs to world! - and get a little weary when I get quite a lot of visitors. I think I’m happy being a quiet blogger. At least for now.
